About Me
I am an astrophysicist currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics (MPA) in Garching, Germany. My research focuses on the role of cosmic rays and magnetic fields in galaxy evolution, combining numerical simulations with observational constraints across multiple wavelengths.
Background
I completed my PhD in 2022 at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP). Originally from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, my academic path has taken me from the Alps to Potsdam and now to Garching, where I am again closer to the mountains.
Research Interests
- Cosmic Rays
- Galaxy formation and evolution
- Magnetic fields in galaxies
- Multi-wavelength emission (radio and gamma rays)
Beyond Research
Outside of research, I enjoy spending time in the mountains, hiking and skiing, as well as dancing, reading, and playing the piano.
